June 11th - August 24th  (9am- Noon)

Green Technology (Week 1)
Do you love mother Earth?  How can we save the Earth?  Be a hero in saving the Earth.  Learn why Green technology has the potential to significantly improve environmental performance and compare it with other available technologies. Understand how can we protect the environment and use all resources in a more sustainable manner, recycle more of their wastes and products. Perform experiments using huge solar panel to see how the electricity is created using solar power. In the real life situation how the green technology has been implemented and has greatly affected the Agriculture, Energy, Water and waste management, Building and Transportation areas.

Civil Engineering (Week 2):
Do you enjoy solving problems and putting your ideas into action? Are you curious about how things work and how to make them better? Are you interested in improving the environment?  Then this camp is for you.  Learn how Civil Engineers plan, design, and supervise the construction and maintenance of airports, bridges, buildings, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, roads, tunnels, and water supply and sewage systems.

Optics (Week 3)
Learn about the Optics which is a branch of physics. Learn about the reflection and refraction properties of light and how these are used in the astronomy, various engineering fields, photography.  Perform hands on experiments using mirrors, lenses, telescopes, microscopes.
Also, make a periscope or kaleidoscope to take home.

CSI Technology (Week 4)
The real police work uses several technologies during their criminal investigations.  Learn about these techniques used by the law enforcement officers to investigate the crime scene. Participate in our investigation and play a role of an investigator.

Robotics (Week 5)
Robots are fun!  Learn how to design, construct and operate a robot.  Make your own take home robot.

Electrical Engineering (Week 6)
Do you enjoy playing with toys that use the electrical and electronics circuit? It is about time to fins out how do they work.  Enjoy building several fun circuits that will create light, sound and war effects.

Mechanical Engineering (Week 7)
Have you seen machines and tools that help us do our job better?  Learn about several machines and create your own machine.  Participate in the creative design of a machine.

Solar System (Week 8)
Lean about the fun facts about the planets and their moons. Look at the asteroid belt, which lies between Mars and Jupiter. Create your own planet based on the properties you learned.

Mass, Density and Volume (Week 9)
Hands on experiments to learn how the density of a material varies with temperature and pressure. What happens when you mix liquids with different densities are mixed in a test tube. How are the density, its mass and volume of an object are related.  Perform some fun experiments to understand the concept of what sinks and what floats.

Kinetic and Potential Energy (Week 10)
Have you seen an object hanging off of an glider and falling from a height?  How does that work?
How does the rocket goes in the space and orbits around the planets? What types of forces act on this object?

Bugs and Insects (Week 11)
Visit the fascinating world of bugs and insects the most diverse groups of animals on the planet, Learn about their environment, habitat, and their life cycles.  Are the insects and bugs our friends or enemy?  Finally, create your own diorama.

Kitchen Chemistry (Week 12)
Have you seen mom using several chemicals in the kitchen?  You must be wondering why does she needs all these chemicals.  Let us study scientifically what they are and how do they affect human body?

Note:      All camps are from Monday-Friday unless specified otherwise.  For Robotics weeks add $20 to your payments if your child would like a take home robot.   This camp includes Science and techonology classes throughout the day.
